Biography
Fernando, known as Fernandina in Japan, is a minor Savage Slammers blader in the original Beyblade series whose Beyblade Winshika houses the spirit of a seal he once encountered near it while it lay fallen in water. He faces Max Tate of the Bladebreakers during the American Tournament and, after a tense match, deliberately directs his own Beyblade out of the stadium, conceding rather than continuing. He tells Max they'll battle again sometime, leaving the rivalry unresolved, and Winshika's defense ring is noted for cushioning attacks without losing momentum.
