Biography

Dragon is Dante Koryu's Bey spirit in Beyblade Burst Rise, a wise, noble East-meets-West dragon design that acts as Dante's conscience, appearing in a heavenly green dreamscape to counsel him through doubt and guide his growth as a Blader. His look evolves across forms, from the original Ace/Glyph/Rock Dragon, through the sharper, armored Command/Master Dragon, to the sleek, rainbow-accented Tempest Dragon and the similarly styled Gambit Dragon, each redesign tracking Dante's power-ups. Unlike most Burst protagonist avatars, Dragon keeps a fully non-humanoid, purely draconic form throughout the entire series.

Dragon's design blends Eastern and Western dragon traditions, pairing an Eastern-style head, white mane and beard with a Western dragon's winged body; aqua-blue scales, a darker underbelly, yellow forearm and leg plating, green eyes and ruby wing claws mark his early forms. Later evolutions refine the look considerably — sharper diamond-shaped eyes, smoother scales, gold armor plating around the eyes, cheek blades and a chest pendant appear as he grows more armored and detailed. The most advanced forms strip away his facial hair entirely, add a six-winged chest emblem set with a red gem, and give his wings prismatic, rainbow-toned lower blades alongside heavier gold and dark-blue metalwork throughout.

Wisdom and nobility define Dragon, who acts as mentor and conscience to Dante throughout his growth as a blader. He steers Dante toward doing right, pushes him to keep improving, and consistently offers the calm, reasoned perspective that Dante can rely on both inside and outside of battle.
