Biography

In the Metal Fight Beyblade manga, Dashan Wang is a quieter, harsher version of his anime counterpart: leader of Team China's Wang Hu Zhong at the Big Bang Bladers World Championships. He and Chiyun Li arrive in hooded cloaks to face Team Japan, and Dashan personally crushes Masamune in seconds using Rock Girrafe's rubber-wing surprise attack before overreaching against Gingka and losing when his rubber wears through. Later, during the Hell Kerbecs crisis, he is defeated and has his mind trapped along with other bladers, only freed after Ginga rescues everyone from within Hades.

Tall and muscular, he wears his long hair spiked and trailing down past his back, with large eyes that stay trained on whatever obstacle he's facing. Like his anime counterpart his build is lean yet clearly shaped by martial arts training. He wears a Beylin training shirt under a sleeveless, fur-trimmed coat, with loose white trousers stopping just above the ankle, fingerless gloves reaching his elbows, two piercings in his left ear alone, and Chinese martial arts shoes.

Focus and quiet directness mark him more than words do — he says little in battle, preferring to simply get on with it rather than gloat or trade talk, though that silence comes from confidence rather than uncertainty. He can turn genuinely harsh, and shows little mercy toward anyone who dishonours the Beylin Temple, since respecting it matters more to him than almost anything else.
