Damian Heart (manga)

Biography

This manga-only Damian Heart leads Team America for Hades Inc. in the Big Bang Bladers arc of the Metal Fight Beyblade manga, fighting with Hell Kerbecs BD145DS, a Bey that steals defeated Bladers' souls to grow stronger. Manipulated into cruelty by Hades Inc., he defeats Julius Caesar and Ginga's entire circle of friends before absorbing Masamune's soul to maximize Kerbecs into "The Bey of Hell." Ginga eventually breaks his arrangement-fueled power with his friends' combined souls and new Cosmic Pegasus F:D, prompting Damian to release his captives and become a genuinely kind, reformed friend.

Slight and short, his face shifts noticeably with whatever he's feeling. His hair spikes lightly at the crown and sides, cut into a V shape at the centre. A collar-like choker sits at his neck, above shoulder-mounted armour that covers his upper body down past his chest and connects to a cape trailing behind him. Underneath, a sleeveless bodysuit tucks into his boots, and wrist gauntlets matching the armour cover part of his fingerless gloves.

Manipulation by Hades shaped him into someone merciless and hate-filled, fixated solely on victory and untroubled by the pain he caused — he even took pleasure in it. Losing to Ginga breaks that hold over him, and instead of resenting the defeat he feels relief at being freed, going on to become Ginga's friend.
