Biography
Daigoro Sumeragi is Daichi's deceased father, a logger seen only in flashback in Beyblade: G-Revolution. He cared meticulously for his tools, telling young Daichi that this care reflected his full effort and spirit — a lesson Daichi later channels whenever he needs to push harder in a Beybattle. Daigoro died years before the series' present day, jumping in front of rolling tree trunks to save fellow workers who hadn't noticed the danger, and his final act was leaving Daichi the Beyblade he built by hand, Gaia Dragoon.
