Biography

Clio Delon is a spooky-looking but warm French magician on Team AS Gallus in Beyblade Burst Evolution, fighting with Deep Caynox 4Flow Bearing. Despite a vampire-like appearance from a famous magician family, he is friendly, artistic, and fond of animals, though a past magic trick left childhood friend Cuza Ackermann traumatized and afraid of him. Clio supports Daigo Kurogami and helps train Cuza for the International Blader's Cup, winning most of his early Evolution matches before losing his final two, to Cuza and to Norman Tarver.

Spiky gray hair angles outward with one long strand hanging down between his magenta eyes, and a pair of red diamond marks sit above and below his left eye. Like Silas, Xander, Lui and Jin, he has triangular teeth, plus two prominent fangs that give him a distinctly vampiric look. His black, gold-accented cloak is set with red gems and curves upward at the neck in vampire-cape fashion, worn over a white cravat and a green, double-breasted blazer with gold buttons, its cuffs finished in white ruffs, with black gloves, black trousers striped in light orange at the hem, yellow socks and brown loafers. As a younger boy he kept the same hair and facial marks but wore a white collared shirt, black suspender shorts, a black cape tied with a green-laced bow, white socks and black shoes.

His unsettling look belies a genuinely friendly, supportive nature — he backs Daigo during his match against Joshua and helps Cuza with practice, seemingly oblivious to the fact that Cuza is actually frightened of him, a fear traced back to one of Clio's old magic tricks going wrong. Magic runs in the family; by Ataru's account, the Delons are famous magicians, and Clio's own skill with tricks lives up to that reputation.
