Ben Azuki

Biography

Ben Azuki captains the Beasts, a team in Beyblade Burst's National Championships, and battles with Beast Betromoth Heavy Hold. Tanned, mohawked, and often communicating in growls and roars, he pushes his teammates — especially Ken Midori, whom he recruited — to unleash their inner beast in battle. Though intimidating on the surface, Ben is warm-hearted and encouraging. He shares Valt Aoi's driven, all-or-nothing Attack Type mentality, and the two develop mutual respect after Valt narrowly defeats him, with Ben asking for a rematch that Valt happily agrees to.

Ben has tanned skin and a shock of pink hair, broken by an orange lightning-bolt streak and topped with a purple mohawk. His eyes are pink, and he carries a bandage beneath the left one. Over an orange hoodie he wears a black-and-red jacket marked with a triangle on the left sleeve, paired with purple shorts patterned in black triangular stripes. Black boots and silver earrings round out the look.

Teammates read a wild, almost feral energy in Ben, and as captain of the Beasts he is forever pushing the others, Ken most of all, to let that same instinct loose in battle. He is a man of few words, more likely to answer with a growl or a roar than a sentence, which can make him look standoffish or even hostile until people get past it and find genuine warmth underneath. He also tends to leap to conclusions — he once read Valt and Ken's joking back-and-forth as a real argument. In temperament he mirrors Valt Aoi: both are driven, single-minded competitors who wield Attack Type Beys.
