Axel

Biography

Axel, known as Bartolome in Japan, is a member of the Savage Slammers in the original Beyblade: 2000 series, having received his defense-oriented Beyblade Wintose as a gift from a tortoise he once helped. During the American Tournament, he distracts Tyson Granger with meandering stories about his tortoise friend, causing Tyson to lose focus until Ryu Granger snaps him back on track. Realizing that Axel is genuinely dedicated to his Beyblade despite his eccentricities, Tyson refocuses and defeats him using his Phantom Hurricane Attack to sweep up the stadium's water along with Wintose.
