Biography

Ataru Okinaka is the Bey trainer for Sunbat United in Beyblade Burst Evolution, hired by team captain Wakiya Murasaki for his advanced strategic skills and always seen carrying a Beyblade analyzer device. Passionate about optimizing every Beyblade's performance, he takes pride in having helped Wakiya evolve Wild Wyvron into Tempest Wyvron 4Glaive Atomic, and manager Hoji credits him as a phenomenal strategist explaining his hiring. His only recorded on-screen battle, against Xander Shakadera, ends in defeat.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Bright red hair and blue eyes mark out Ataru, who dresses in a beige jacket over a dark blue shirt and is rarely seen without his beyblade analyzer close at hand.

Training Beys is Ataru's passion, and he genuinely enjoys working out how to squeeze more performance out of each one he studies. He takes particular pride in having helped Wakiya evolve Wild Wyvron into Tempest Wyvron 4Glaive Atomic. Hoji has vouched for him as a phenomenal strategist, which is reportedly the reason Wakiya brought him on in the first place.
