Biography

Andrew, called Akira in the Japanese version, is a tall, distinctively featured friend of Tyson Granger from the original Beyblade: 2000 series. Once defeated and robbed by Blade Sharks member Carlos, he is avenged when Tyson challenges and beats Carlos to reclaim all stolen Beyblades. Andrew later comforts Tyson after his loss to Kai, encourages him to build a better Beyblade and strategy, and helps rescue Kenny from the Blade Sharks, though his role fades to occasional cameos once Tyson begins traveling internationally with the Bladebreakers.

Appearance

What They Look Like

Andrew stands out for his unusual height and notably big lips. His outfit signals a basketball habit: blue basketball pants, a purple basketball jersey and a green wristband. A blond streak sits at the front of his otherwise dark brown hair, a style Aaron compares to a leaf.
